Teeth soreness and gingivitus?
Umm..I'm a dental assistant and don't really have much details about you, but trust me you wanna fix the gingivitis thing right away. Gingivitis loosens up the teeth if not taken care of. So go to the dentist asap You dont wanna lose your teeth.

.
Reply:depends on how old you are. If you are in ur teens, or 20s, i wouldent worry. Start brushing, and using mouth wash
Reply:You need a professional here.....go see a dentist for the proper x-rays and exam. Gingivitis and/or periodontal disease is something you need professional help to treat. They should do a measurement called "perio charting" or "perio probing" which is a special measurement of the gum collar around each tooth. Normal numbers are between 1-3mm, and numbers above that indicate puffiness or inflammation of the gums, and high numbers like 6 and up show advanced bone loss which leads to tooth loss. You may also be grinding, and may want to consider a night guard to help protect your teeth at night while you sleep. Bottom line is- go to the dentist for a proper diagnosis.
Reply:Well, let me start by saying this: Gingivitis is the first step of gum disease. They bleed easily and give you bad breath. If you practice good oral hygiene, you can cure gingivitis yourself. That can be done by Brushing atlest 2 times a day and flossing every day. If you don't do this, gingivitis can go to stage 2- periodntitis.

This is really bad because you CANNOT cure this. Your dentist has to. It can be cured by surgery or harshly scraping the insides of gum to get rid of it. And let me tell you, it is REALLY painful. I havent had this but my brother has.

My advice- practice good oral hygiene.
