Gums & Teeth, I'm in a lot of pain.?

Firsdt off, I have no insurance and I have no money whatso ever. I have 3 teeth where the fillings have come out and bother me from time to time but I've learned to deal with the dull pain that it gives me. My 3rd tooth lost its filling and since then other parts of that tooth have broken off, leaving a huge pot hole and a little less than half of the tooth. Now im in horrible pain and it's making my whole mouth hurt. My gums seem to have been receeding. I've already taken 2 500 mg of Tylenol, and a few hours later since the pain still remains, i took a codiene. Im still in pain and it's gotten worse. I don't know what to do. I have no insurance, no income and I have no children therefore I can't get medi-cal. What can I do?

just have to get some money. if you smoke and drink or do drugs give them up so you will have some. if not get a job .
Reply:Is there a community clinic with a dentist in your area? I think that might be your best bet. The pain won't go away as long as the teeth are there and even if the teeth stop giving you pain you will still have the gum irritation from the teeth still remaining in there. Its best and cheapest to get the teeth extracted...but the clinic might even be able to do more for you.
Reply:Clove oil:Is great to use for toothaches. Apply a little on the affected tooth for some time and then rinse with warm water. Boil 5 grams of fresh peppermint in 1 cup water with a little salt. And rinse mouth well with this .Peppermint is an antiseptic and contains menthol which relives pain .Try out http://useinfo-dentalcare.blogspot.com/ for more details.
Reply:i just think you need to see a dental expert, you might be having warning signs of advanced periodontal disease which can become irreversible when left untreated. advanced periodontal disease needs to be checked by a dentist, be also aware that gum disease can cause a host of health problems like heart attacks and strokes, infection can spread to other parts of the body as well.

take oral health seriously for gum disease can affect general health if left untreated. and it is best that you pay close attention to good oral hygiene to prevent gum disease from silently attacking and progressing. make it a habit to properly and carefully brush and floss teeth to remove plaque and keep the mouth free from bad bacteria from proliferating. visit http://www.themouthdoctor.com for more tips on how to take good care of the gums.
