Is it normal for pups to lose their teeth?

I have an akita dog (simba) aged 14 wks he has started to loose his teeth and the ones he has left in his mouth are a funny shape having jagged edges ??? as i said his teeth are falling out I have tried to look up some info over the internet about this nut dont seem to find any .... any advise?

Is it normal for pups to lose their teeth?
Yes it is normal. Remember when you were a kid and you lost your teeth and then grew in your adult teeth? Your dog will do the same thing and soon get the adult teeth that he will have forever.
Reply:it is normal for a puppy to lose their teeth, alot like humans., thats whhy puppys chew so much, they are teething.
Reply:Yes it's normal for puppies to lose their baby teeth. I had two siberian huskies and they both lost theirs' but if you're worried I'd definitely take them to a vet if only to ease your mind. After all, your're their new Mama!
Reply:Its teething, where the puppy teeth fall out for the adult teeth to grow in. Its normal, no worries :)
Reply:Yes, it's perfectly normal! Puppies lose their baby teeth, just like we did, when we were babies, in order to make room for their permanent teeth to come in. A lot of times they end up swallowing the teeth, so you don't even know that they are missing! Don't worry!
Reply:my pup lost her two front teeth right before her first Christmas it was funny i took pictures all i could think about was that song "all i want for Christmas is my two front teeth". Yes its normal for them to lose their teeth just like it is normal for children to lose their baby teeth. If you are worried call your local vet. Good luck with your pup.
Reply:just let them fall out and they will eat them. I now it sounds funny but they do. if there still in when akita turns 2 take him to the vet. OK. :-)
