How many teeth do you lose?

because I'm eleven and i have 22 teeth, do i lose all of them or do i just loose some because i thought that i didnt lose the back ones but im confused! any dentists out there?

This website shows primary dentition and the ages the baby teeth come in. Click on the tab for Permanent Dentition on the yellow panel on the left of the page to see the ages the adult teeth generally erupt. All primary teeth are generally replaced by adult teeth (except in some cases where the patient is congenitally missing some teeth in which case heroic measures are taken to save the baby teeth).


Obviously the ages indicated in the sample are just a rough guide and can vary considerably in individuals.





We have 20 primary teeth and 32 adult teeth (including 4 wisdom teeth that don't erupt until late teens). If your son has lost all his baby teeth and got all his adult teeth he will have 28 in total right now.
Reply:you should have 26 teeth but you probably don't have your wisdom teeth yet..these can hurt when they come in..word to the wise..have them taken care of by your dentist..
Reply:You lose your first set of teeth. All of them. But they all are replaced by a second set.

Reply:hi there. You should be losing a lot of teeth around this age because usually by the time you are twelve you should have all your permanent (big Teeth) teeth. You should have 14 teeth on top, 7 on each side and 14 on the bottom ,7 on each side by the time your twelve....but sometimes people loose their teeth sooner and some are delayed....if too delayed its a good idea to get xrays to make sure the permanent teeth are developed. Widom teeth usually start to bother people in their late teens and there are usually 4 of them. Therefore by the time you are twelve you should have 28 teeth...and maybe by the time your in your late teens you would have 32 if you got all your wisdom teeth.
Reply:Most people (normal) have 20 baby teeth and lose them all, you must have some of your 6 yr molars in or be missing some bay teeth and have all four 6 yr molars
