How long does it take for teeth to grow back?

My oldest daughter is 6. She has lost 7 teeth in the year (actually it's been more like 10 months) The first 2 she lost have grown back (these are the 2 in the middle at the bottom). She is still missing a tooth on each side of these, her top 2 front teeth, as well as one of the ones beside them. I am worried that she won't be able to eat solids if she continues losing them and them not growing back.

I'm assuming you mean her permanent teeth have not yet come in, since teeth don't grow back. But there's no timetable... my son's front baby tooth was pulled over a year ago and his permanent one hasn't come in yet (he's 6 too).

It shouldn't keep her from eating solids, her back teeth are used more for chewing than her front ones are.
Reply:Wow. Teeth don't "grow back." If her adult teeth are slow to come in it could be trouble with the alignment or placement of her teeth or it could just be nothing. Give it some time. If she isn't showing anything in a week or two take her to the family dentist.
Reply:When I was a little kid I lost my two front teeth and they took 5 months to come back. It sucks, but the gums will get really tough and kind of calloused and she should be able to eat solid foods just fine after a little while.
