How can I help my dog lose his lingering baby teeth?

My dog is 10 months old %26amp; still has not lost his 4 canine baby teeth (you know, canine like the longer teeth in the corners of your mouth, not as in K-9).

He lost all his other baby teeth by the time he was about 6 months old. Now he has a little bit of a shark-mouth thing going on because he has both his adult canines %26amp; the baby canines.

Apparently it's bad for the health of his teeth %26amp; mouth %26amp; they are going to need to be pulled. It's supposed to cost roughly $280 to get them pulled, but since I'm a college student, it's a bit pricey for my little budget.

Aside from the heap of rawhides he already chews on, I was wondering if there is anything I can do to maybe help him lose those 4 lingering canines to avoid the hefty bill at the vet's. Please let me know if you have any ideas!!
