They should last around 60+ years but with all the changes in our diets people have started losing their teeth naturally, usually starting in their 50's although this can vary, but I think you wanted a "general" answer.
Reply:gum desease makes your teeth fall out it can happen at any age
Reply:As long as you take care of them, they should last you you're lifetime, but if you're like my sister who has neglected her teeth over the years, so all her teeth are new, I am 11 months older 40 %26amp; i've got everyone of mine. Just take care of them %26amp; they'll take care of you.
Reply:It is hard to answer this one. It really depends on many factors. I'm a dental assistant and I've seen young people who lost their teeth in their 40's , but some people in their 80's that still have some left. First of all, find out when your parents started losing theirs. Sometimes genetics plays a part. However, gum disease, caused by not flossing and not getting regular dental care will make them fall out faster. If you go to your regular dentist, have them take a series of X-rays. A lot of times they can judge how long certain teeth have or direct you in how to keep others longer.
Reply:A good fight with a lost tooth
