My kitten of 4 months old has lost two teeth. is this normal?

Animals, like humans, have what you call "baby teeth". That's probably what happened with kitty. Just keep an eye on her, check her gums for signs of bleeding or anything that looks out of the ordinary. My bet is it's just her baby teeth which should be replaced soon with her permanent teeth. You and kitty have fun!!!!

I was sad when I noticed my kittens had lost their 'milk teeth' - quite late after! I wish I had seen them when they had a gap, hehe!
Reply:Yes that is normal. Cats start losing teeth around 4-5 months. If you see one that is lose go on and pull it. That way you are sure that the cat will not get choked on it..
