What is the maximum number of teeth you lost to get braces?

I got 4 canine and 4 wisdom teeth extracted to get braces. Now after several years, i feel my teeth are still buck and a little crooked, and i want to get braces again. I know that the only way my teeth will go in is to get the top two 2 teeth removed again. Is this possible? I asked other Orthodontists and they said i shouldn't get braces again. But I really hate my buck teeth smile, and i hardly smile even after getting braces. I want to fix it. What should i do?

I had 6 teeth removed before I got my braces, and none of them were wisdom (oh those are going to be coming out soon).
Reply:I don't have braces yet, but when I do get them, I have to get 4 teeth pulled. I don't think you would want or have to get 2 more teeth pulled, I'm assuming you mean your two buck teeth pulled. I don't think you'd ever want to do that. Your teeth don't sound that bad, so they probably won't pull any more.
Reply:i lost 2
Reply:When I got my braces they pulled 4 of my teeth before and then had to pull the teeth together to close the gap. Some of the worst pain I ever had. Good LUCK!!
Reply:I've lost 7 teeth, 1 lower wisdom tooth is yet to be removed by surgery. So it would be 8 altogether. My orthodontic treatment plan was to remove all the first premolars and wisdom teeth.
