To those who have lost wisdom teeth...?

How long did it take for you to heal and eat normal things again?

To those who have lost wisdom teeth...?
About a couple of weeks.
Reply:within a week, though I had to be cautious...actually on second thought, I think I stuck with softer foods for a while.
Reply:I was eating normal (very carefully) the next day. It was a little sore and aggravating for the first few days, but then I was fine. (I was traveling the day after...I know, poor me...)
Reply:It took me a couple of weeks and was very painful the whole time. My wife and her brother were good to go the day they had theirs out and were literally pain free the whole time. It depends on the person, I suppose.
Reply:It usually takes from 2 weeks- 1 month to heal and be back to eating normal things. A soft food diet is always recommended for about a week. If you start eating normal foods right away, it can get stuck in your extraction sockets and cause infections and more problems. Getting your wisdom teeth out is nothing to worry about. Just follow the directions of your dentist and you'll be back to normal in no time. I got all four surgically removed and I felt nothing.
Reply:for me, it took almost 2 months, i ended up with an infection and it took a long time for my teeth to settle. im finally relieved now :)
