When young kids lose their teeth, does it affect their appetite?

I suspose it could. My son always get toothaches before they fall out and that makes him not want to eat. I guess that's not really his appetite though. I don't really know, I never heard of this before.

Not their appetite so much as what they will want to eat their gums are more sensitive now that the teeth are gone so they may not want hard foods or foods that are too sweet.
Reply:Sometimes. like they don't want to eat because it hurts to chew on the loose tooth or exposed gum. But, they will eat if its nothing like carrots or something.
