Do puppys lose their teeth?
Yes they do.
Reply:Yes they lose their baby teeth. Nothing to worry about.
Reply:yes like people they have puppy theeth and permanite teeth
Reply:Yes, they usually lose their baby teeth around 4-5 months of age, depending on the breed.
Reply:Yes, it's natural.
Reply:Yes they do, they will lose there baby teeth at around 5-6 months then the adults teeth come through, so make sure you tell the tooth fairy!
Reply:yeah.....just like us ! duh=)
Reply:they sure do! you may never know it, or you may find them in your carpeting or you hand if you pup makes a habit of chomping on you. Seeing some blood in puppy's mouth is nothing to worry about unless it is copious amounts. they usually lose them around 4 months while they are chewing on a toy or rawhide bone
Reply:Yes - they lose their puppy teeth when their adult teeth come in - much like we do.

That is why the chew. The chewing helps loosen the baby teeth. So if you see blood on a chew toy don't get upset - that is normal.
Reply:Beginning around three months of age, puppies start to lose their teeth. You may notice blood on chew toys, which will probably mean new teeth are coming in. Your puppy will be chewing on things like there's no tomorrow.
Reply:They lose their teeth just like kids do. Usually around 4-8 months is the time when they lose their teeth. If the dog swallows them, then it's not a big deal. But try to pick them up as fast as passable.
Reply:yes they do, and then they get thier adult teeth
Reply:yes they are just like kids they lose them and their grown up teeth grow in you may never relize they have lost them expeshialy if they are outside dogs.
Reply:If you play tug of war with them and with a cloth...let them win or you could loosen one or two of their teeth then dislodge them. FACT
Reply:Yes, they're called milk teeth. It kinda freaked me out at first. The whole process lasts a couple of weeks.
Reply:Yes. Usually around 4-6 months they will start. My JRT is 5 months and losing them everyday! Its like one of those bad dreams- lol! Make sure they have plenty of varying texture items- soft %26amp; hard to chew. Hard %26amp; tough for dislodging, soft for comforting sore and bloody gums. ICE CUBES are a BIG help. Your dog will love it when a tooth pops out or gums are sore, or you can get those freezer chew toys that you wet and freeze. Monitor your dog closely. Good luck!
Reply:Yes, they do and they might lose a little or they might lose a lot. Don't be surprised if your puppy loses all of it's teeth. The new ones will grow in fairly quickly. If not, take him or her to a vet
Reply:Puppies lose their milk teeth just as human children do - at about the same age (developmentally, of course).

They are generally replaced by their permanent teeth - just as we do.

When a puppy is referred to as "teething" it means that the puppy is chewing on things in an irresistible urge to shed his milk teeth - and to "cut" his permanent teeth. This phase can last for months and it is at this time when puppies are at their most destructive. Shoes, handbags, briefcases, furniture, computer cords, plastic bottles - you name it - it's all fair game to a voracious puppy trying to cut teeth.

Puppy-proof your home by restricting his access to things he shouldn't have. Put shoes and briefcases in closets and close the doors. Empty tables - especially coffee tables etc. of things by putting them in drawers with baby latches on them. Remote controls are particularly vulnerable to chewing.

Provide your puppy with chew-resistant toys such as nylabone, Kong and other approved toys - no more than 2 at a time, please.

Be patient. This too shall pass.
Reply:yep you find them lying around the house if you keep your dog in the house
Reply:yes just like humans puppies loose their teeth.
Reply:Yes they do.

I was lucky to find one, so that I could keep it as a keepsake:-) lol!! You rarely will manage to find them as they tend to swallow them.

If my dog wants to chew, eg on my hand, whilst I'm holding her..I just get her a toy to chew on and she's happy.

Enjoy your puppy:-)
